Responsible gastronomy, looking to the future

At Maison de Bacon, the emblematic gastronomic restaurant of the Cap d'Antibes, culinary excellence goes hand in hand with a strong environmental commitment. Aware of the impact of the restaurant industry on natural resources, we have made Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) a central pillar of our approach.

The year 2025 marks a major milestone in this commitment, with concrete, measurable and above all lasting results.


Exemplary environmental results in 2025

Among the highest-performing waste sorting

In 2025, Maison de Bacon achieved a 98% sorting quality score, a level of excellence far above the national average of 88% in the restaurant sector.

This result is the fruit of daily work involving all of our teams: training, rigour, clear procedures and specialised partnerships.


11 tonnes of biowaste recovered

Over the year 2025, 11 tonnes of biowaste were carefully sorted and recovered, instead of being incinerated or landfilled.

This biowaste made it possible to produce:

  • 8,375 kg of compost,
  • used to nourish 5,582 m² of agricultural and natural land.

A virtuous circle that gives back to the earth what it offers us every day in our kitchens.

A significant carbon impact avoided

Thanks to this biowaste sorting and recovery policy, Maison de Bacon avoided COâ‚‚ emissions equivalent to:

6 round-trip flights Paris – Istanbul.

A telling figure, which concretely illustrates the positive impact of local actions carried out with consistency and high standards.


A collective and sustainable approach

These results are above all the reflection of a human commitment : that of our teams in the kitchen, in the dining room and in the back office, trained and made aware of environmental issues.

They also reflect our desire to be part of a responsible gastronomy, respectful of produce, seasons, territories and future generations.
