What data do we collect?
We only collect the data you voluntarily provide to us and the data strictly necessary for the operation of the website:
- Contact form : name, email address, telephone number, content of your message.
- Newsletter : email address.
- Job applications : name, contact details, CV and any information included in your application.
- Event and private hire enquiries : contact details and details of your project.
- Browsing : technical data (pages viewed, device type) through audience measurement and advertising cookies, only if you consent to them.
Table reservations are handled by our partner Zenchef and event quote requests by BookingShake; the data entered in their modules is sent to them directly and is covered by their own privacy policies.
Why do we use this data?
- Responding to your enquiries (contact, events): legitimate interest and pre-contractual measures.
- Sending you our newsletter : consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link.
- Reviewing your job application : pre-contractual measures.
- Measuring the website’s audience (Google Analytics) and measuring the effectiveness of our advertising (Meta pixel): consent given via the cookie banner.
- Protecting our forms against abuse (Google reCAPTCHA): legitimate interest.
Who has access to your data?
Your data is intended exclusively for the Maison de Bacon team. It is processed technically by our service providers, strictly within the scope of their assignments:
- OVH SAS (website hosting, France);
- Site Mailer (delivery of the emails sent from the forms);
- Zenchef (table reservations) and BookingShake (event enquiries);
- Google (Google Analytics audience measurement, reCAPTCHA anti-spam protection);
- Meta (Facebook advertising pixel, display of our Instagram feed).
Your data is never sold or passed on to unauthorised third parties. The Google and Meta services may involve a transfer of data outside the European Union, governed by standard contractual clauses.
How long do we keep your data?
- Contact and event enquiries: 3 years after the last exchange.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Job applications: 2 years after the last contact, unless you object.
- Cookies: 13 months maximum; your consent choice is stored for 6 months.
